But I am now into the last 9 weeks before Abigail's Wedding and my fat around my middle is steadfastly clinging on.
I have exercised like never before, dieter longer and harder and been so careful with everything, yet still it hasn't been easy to shift this weight.. I am much more toned and have lost nearly 2 stone, I hasten to add, but this last bit won't shift! It simply wants to stay and is resolute
So am I !
It has firmly met its match and I refuse to accept this weight as 'just me' now. I do not feel comfortable, still cannot fit most of my clothes and want to have the same figure at least that I had before I became pregnant!
So I have signed up for 14 days 'Kick start to fitness' at the gym. It is a more intensive programme that you have to stick to ridgy. Eating is not for pleasure, its to burn off fat. It has great results so I am determined to grit my teeth and stick to it. After all its only 14 days........14 very long days.
I am Day 2 at present.
Blinding headaches (lack of caffeine) and I cannot eat everything on the menu! I have tried to keep drinking water and hate all the protein and green without any dressings, or sauces, but I am still on it so far. I managed the workouts and am feeling positive about loosing this last stone.
Tomorrow I have to fast for 17 hours. It sounds tough but in reality with the twins so demanding I often don't get to eat till lunchtime as it is, so I actually don't see this as , as much of a hardships some of the other things.
I have, however realised just how much I pick, because I have to stop myself constantly.I finish off meals the children leave, pick as I make all their packed lunches etc, convincing myself its not much! Judging from how many times I have stopped myself this is quite worrying and I am glad to see this pattern.
So I will be posting more updates as I progress.
